Cement is a hydraulic cementitious material that can harden in both air and water after adding an appropriate amount of water to finely ground materials and forming a plastic slurry. It can firmly bind sand and other materials together. The raw materials for Portland cement production mainly consist of silicate minerals. The raw materials are crushed and ground into powder in a certain proportion, which is then calcined in a cement kiln until partially melted to obtain cement clinker. Add appropriate amount of gypsum to clinker and grind them together to obtain cement. This process is also called "two grinding and one burning" in the industry.
